I've not has much intrest in WWl or WWll. I Have read Ken Follett's Kingbridge Series provided factual information while learning about the early beginnings of England, so I thought I would give it a try.I am very glad I bought this as I now have a much better understanding of WW's through the cutting down of the Berlin Wall. Follett has familes from Russisa, Germany, England, Poland and USA. The story covers the generational changes of the family units as the result of the effects of the pre-war, war time and post war in each country.If you like history this is for you! Is entertaing , educational, sadness, love, joy and peace wrapped together.highly recommend reading this!
