I make gingerbread houses for local high school music department raffle each year. This is the best book I've seen in the 15 years I've been making them. I've used the recipes and the ideas repeatedly, always with great results. The recipes are straightforward and both look and taste great. They work for constructing various structures. I particularly like the gazebo, to which I add a Christmas tree, made of star-shaped cookies. The sleigh also is fun to make.
