I first found this book in a library in a state far away from where I now live, and repeatedly checked it out. I then photocopied some of the pages, and later, when I found that I could buy it on Amazon, bought it. And then I lost it. And I could not remember it's name, until I found some reference to it on Etsy, and was able to purchase it again.It is an amazing resource for period clothing and hairstyles, and helpful for thinking through how to create a doll. Making a doll with this book is a lovely project for doing work with one's hands and working with detail. Restful!I am now working to find ways to make the dolls I create posable--which the book does not outline. But that is not a problem--Google is helpful for this next part of the projects!
