I got this book because I was written by BJ Novak, and I'm a huge fan. When we first got it, I wasn't sure how my 3.5 year old granddaughter was going to like it. There are 48 pages, but some are blank, and some only have a couple of words, so I was wondering if this was going to be gimmicky. NOPE!My granddaughter LOVED it. She made all the adults read it because she found it hilarious to hear the adults saying all those silly words. After a few rounds and insisting we read it every night she decided she wanted to 'read' it to us.There are no pictures to give context clues, so the kids actually have to sound the words out (and rely on memory, of course). I wish I had taken a video of her reading it because it was very entertaining. Huge hit with everyone. Well done, Mr. Novak!
