Rick presents suggestions on collecting each year's coin in both optimum circulated and uncirculated grades. He provides "snapshots" in history for each year of the series, which is fascinating and ties in well with the discussion on each coin. If you are only a casual collector, then it's likely a current Redbook will do you well. If you are fascinated by this series and want to dig deep into the history, striking characteristics and varieties of each coin, then Rick's book is a must have!
