Bought this book for someone who loves trees.Unfortunately some of the letters and trees don't match the actual letters and trees. I've put up the exact pages - but with some thought and awareness, there's still value here. "N" (Nion) here is listed as having three marks to the right of the vertical line instead of five. It is an Ash."F" (Fern) should be 3 to the right and an alder tree. "S" (Saille) is a Willow tree four lines to the right.If there are other mistakes, I didn't see them.I hope the author decides to re-do with mistakes fixed, as her art is fun to look at, her personal notes are appealing and interesting. Also the concept of the book is quite nice.I recommend "Roots" by Olivia Wylie first, to learn the trees and letters all accurately. Her art is also beautiful, as is this author's.As long as you're aware that S, N, and F (Willow, Ash, and Alder) are incorrect and swapped around, it's a gorgeous book. The person I bought it for liked it in spite of the mistakes. The two stars off are only for the three errors.Beautiful book filled with stunning hand drawn sketches and information.
