This Scottish band's second album "Open Book," is just flat out excellent! Saw the band on an opening stint for Augustines' last tour and was blown away by great live performance and catchy tunes. Sometimes light and poppy, sometimes dark and moody, the album has a little something for everyone. Quirky to mainstream pop sensibilities and a tight production made this a real standout record. Scotland has been really firing on all cylinders the last 5+ years and these guys should be an easy breakout band. Give it a chance and they'll ear-worm their way into your brain and take up residence there. For fans of bands like We Were Promised Jetpacks and Frightened Rabbit with a dash of Twin Atlantic.
