The books are okay and I like the paper. But the spiral bindings are a little too small so the pages sometimes bind when you turn them. Next time I'll pay a little more for Canson or Strathmore which don't have this problem.The sketchbooks are a good value. Front cover is less durable than the back. The pages inside have a nice texture and will work nice with drawing pencils.Great value, lower quality paper, but sufficient for sketching.I bought these for my 10 year old. They are perfect to carry around. Light wait and hold together well! She loves to draw and drags these things every where. They are still look like new.The red book had rips and dents in it. The value was not there, should have been more durable.My daughter draws (and will sometimes do water color pens and other multi-media things) and has opinions about paper heft and quality. This passes that opinion test, and she likes having a small/medium one to pack around with her.These sketchbooks are very nice! In the box there were six and they were packaged decently. The paper quality is fine. It's kind of thin and has texture. Its very good for drawing with pencils. If you do want to draw with markers, it bleeds through the paper.
