There were 1 or 2 pages with writing on the date. Otherwise, the pages were in good shape. The pages contain quotes and poetry, as well as colorful drawings. This is as I expected. Journalizing in this book is a pleasant experience.I've had one if these books for years to record important family events, births, deaths. I wanted another because I'm a Wedding Officiant and I want to have an easy way to know who's anniversaries are coming up.Excellent condition, receipitient very pleased to receive this delightful book
